Bet Referral Screen

The Bet Referral screen is where traders take direct control of bets that require manual review or approval before being accepted. This includes bets that fall outside predefined limits, trigger risk rules, or require additional validation based on player behaviour, stake size, odds, or event exposure.

This screen is designed to support fast, confident decision-making under time pressure, ensuring risk is managed effectively while maintaining a smooth experience for legitimate customers. All referred bets are displayed in real time, allowing traders to review, approve or reject.

You’ll gain full visibility into why a bet was referred and the full bet slip context, enabling informed decisions that balance exposure control with revenue opportunity.

How the Bet Referral Screen Works

When a bet triggers one or more referral conditions, it is routed to the Bet Referral screen instead of being automatically accepted or rejected.

Each referred bet includes a 1-minute countdown timer, clearly displayed to ensure timely action. If no action is taken within this time window, the bet is automatically rejected by the system.

New referrals appear in real time within the referral screen but also a quantiy indicator on the bets monitor screen, ensuring traders always have an up-to-date view of pending decisions.

Bet Referral Information Overview

Each referred bet displays the following key information:

Bet Slip Details

  • Bet Slip ID

  • Bet type (Single / Multiple / System)

  • Total odds

  • Total stake

  • Potential winning amount

Referral Reasons Clear indicators explaining why the bet requires manual approval, such as:

  • Exceeded maximum stake or win limits

  • Odds outside permitted ranges

  • Entity-based risk limits (sport, league, event)

  • Repeat or cumulative bet behaviour

  • Player risk or performance thresholds

If multiple referral reasons apply, traders can expand the list to review all triggers.

Player Context & Analytics

To support informed decisions, traders are provided with player-level insights, including:

  • Distribution of pre-match, in-play, and mixed bets

  • Win / lose / pending bet ratios

  • Bet type allocation (single, multiple, system)

This context helps identify patterns such as sharp behaviour, staking strategies, or unusual activity before taking action.

Trader Actions

For each referred bet, traders can take one of the following actions:

  • Approve – Accept the bet as submitted

  • Reject – Decline the bet immediately

Once an action is taken, the bet is processed accordingly and removed from the referral queue, with clear visual confirmation of the outcome.

When No Bets Are Pending

If there are no bets awaiting review, the screen displays a confirmation message indicating that all bets are currently processed, allowing traders to continue monitoring for new referrals.
