Step 2: Configuring the General Entity Limit
Welcome to the General Entity Limits Configuration guide. Here, you'll find everything you need to manage and fine-tune your entity's risk settings across the platform. Whether you're setting limits at the sport, competition, or fixture level, this screen offers a clear and intuitive hierarchical tree layout for total control. You'll also learn how to configure for maximum exposure, ensuring your risk management strategy is precise, scalable, and fully aligned with your operational needs.
Navigation Overview
Accessing the Sports Limits Screen
Navigate to the Risk Management section.
Click on the Sports Limits tab next to the Platform Limits tab.
Page Layout
The page is divided into two sections:
Limits Table: Displays existing sports limits.
Limits Configuration: Shows detailed configuration for a selected limit or an empty form for creating a new limit.
Limits Table
Overview
Displays all existing sports limits in a table format.
If no limits exist, an empty state screen is displayed.
Clicking on a limit opens its configuration in the right-hand Limits Configuration section.
Table Columns
Entity Limit: Hierarchy level of the limit (e.g., Sport, Competition, Fixture).
Type: Prematch/Inplay.
Sport: Sport name with its icon.
Location: Location name with its icon.
Competition: Competition name.
Fixture: Fixture name.
Start Date: Fixture start date.
Max Winning: Numeric input with a "$" symbol indicating the maximum winnings allowed. Will be
Action: Reject or Check
Table Features
Sorting: By sports name (A-Z).
Search: Search by amount, action, type, entity limit, sport name, location, competition, or fixture.
Filters:
Entity Limit: Filter by hierarchy level (e.g., Sport level only in Phase 1).
Sport: Dropdown of all sports types in the database.
Location and Competition: Disabled in Phase 1.
Action: Filter by Check or Reject.
Actions
+New: Opens an empty form in the Limits Configuration section for creating a new limit.
Validation:
Alphanumeric characters and allowed special symbols only.
Length: 3–40 characters.
Underscore (_) cannot be the first character.

Limits Configuration Section
Header: Displays Limit Details.
Limit Info
Type: Toggle button to select Prematch, Inplay, or Mixed (default: Prematch).
Sport: Dropdown with search to select a sport (default: blank).
Limit Rule
Max Winning: Numeric input for the maximum winnings allowed.
Action: Choose between Reject (Default) or Check if the limit is exceeded
Validation
Numeric values only (minimum: 1, maximum: 100,000,000).
Value cannot exceed the maximum winning value of the higher hierarchy level.
The lower hierarchy can only get a lower amount.
Form Actions
Cancel: Resets the form to its initial state.
Delete Limit: Deletes the limit and reverts affected entities to platform default limits
Save Limit: Activated after at least one value is changed.
Saves the new limit and marks it as active.
How to Create or Edit a Limit
Creating a New Limit
Click +New.
Fill in the following fields in order:
Type: Select Prematch, Inplay, or Mixed.
Sport: Choose from the dropdown.
Location: Choose from the dropdown.
Competition: Choose from the dropdown.
Fixture: Choose from the dropdown.
Max Winning: Enter a numeric value (Default: blank).
Action: Choose between Reject (Default) or Check if the limit is exceeded
Click Save Limit to save the new configuration.
Editing an Existing Limit
Select a limit from the table.
Update:
Max Winning: Enter a numeric value
Action: Select Check or Reject (Default: Reject).
Click Save Limit to apply changes.
Deleting a Limit
Click Delete Limit.
General Restrictions
Fields must be configured in a top-down order:
Type > Sport > Location > Competition > Fixture
Can apply limit for any sports type for inplay, prematch, or mixed
cannot set multiple limits for the same sport and the same ty
