# API Token Generation

These steps are intended for TRADE customers (users with the **Admin** or **TRADE Senior Trader** role) to generate API credentials for ComboBuilder integration.

1. **To generate an API token, here are the steps:**
   1. Log in to the TRADE platform.
   2. Click on your name icon in the top-right corner → **User Management**.
   3. Select **API Tokens** from the sidebar.
   4. Click **Generate Token**.
   5. Enter a **Description** (e.g., "ComboBuilder").
   6. Assign the **TRADE Senior Trader** role.
   7. Under **Expiration**, select the desired expiration period.
   8. Click **Create** and **Copy** the **Client ID** and **Secret Key**.
      1. **THIS CRUCIAL CREDENTIAL WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY ONCE!! COPY AND SAVE IT!**
2. **Deleting a Token**

   To delete an existing token, click the **three-dot menu** (⋮) on the right side of the token row and select **Delete API Token**.
