# Coverage & Trading Analysis

The Coverage & Trading Analysis screen gives you a real-time view of how your sportsbook's coverage stacks up against competitors. Use it to identify gaps, track market uptime, and compare margins — then act directly from the interface.

## Access

Navigate to **BOOST** → **Trading & Coverage Analysis** in the main menu.

## Comparison Bar

The Comparison Bar at the top of the screen lets you filter and tailor the analysis:

| Filter          | Description                                                                                          |
| --------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Providers**   | Compare up to five providers, including your primary provider                                        |
| **Sport**       | Select one sport to focus on (defaults to the sport with highest fixture count in the past 3 months) |
| **Location**    | One or more geographic regions (optional)                                                            |
| **Competition** | One or more leagues or tournaments (optional)                                                        |
| **Time Period** | Today, yesterday, past 7 days, 1 month, or 3 months                                                  |

*Today* covers data from 00:00 to the current time minus 1 hour. Inactive providers are excluded from analysis — a toast notification will alert you if a selected provider is inactive.

Use the **Clear All** button to reset all filters.

## Fixture Coverage Graph

The Fixture Coverage Graph shows how your fixture count compares to competitors over your selected time range.

**Features:**

* **Interactive line chart** — Displays fixture counts for each provider
* **Tooltips** — Hover over any point to see the exact number of fixtures offered by each provider, and the time range that data point represents
* **Click-to-Drill** — Click any point to jump to the [Coverage Matrix](https://docs.lsports.eu/u/boost/provider-benchmark/coverage-matrix), pre-filtered to that time period, showing a detailed breakdown of exactly which fixtures are missing

The time range carried into Coverage Matrix is automatically adjusted by timeframe:

| Last 7 days       | 4 hours                |
| 1 month           | 6 hours                |
| 3 months          | 8 hours                |

## Market Coverage Graph

The Market Coverage Graph shows the number of unique markets your provider offers compared to competitors.

**Features:**

* **Interactive line chart** — Trends in unique market counts per provider
* **Tooltips** — Exact market counts and time range per data point
* **Click-to-Drill** — Click to open the Coverage Matrix on the **Markets** tab, showing exactly which markets you're missing at that moment

## Market Uptime Graph

The Market Uptime Graph compares average market uptime across providers for specific sports, leagues, and markets.

**Features:**

* **Column chart** — Uptime percentages per provider, broken down by market type (e.g. 1X2, Over/Under)
* **Tooltips** — Average uptime per provider and market on hover
* **Filters** — Narrow by provider, sport, league, or market type
* **PreMatch and InPlay** — Both views are supported

**Colour coding:**

* **Green** — Your uptime exceeds a competitor's
* **Red** — A competitor outperforms your uptime

## Margin Comparison Insights

Margin Comparison Insights provides a visual analysis of provider market margins at the competition level.

**Features:**

* Compare market margins between multiple providers across supported markets (e.g. 1X2, Over/Under, Asian Handicap)
* Insights are based on aggregated competition-level data
* Margin calculation uses the **multiplicative method**
* Hover tooltips show provider names and exact margin percentages per market type

**Colour coding:**

* **Green** — Your margin is higher than a competitor's
* **Red** — A competitor has a higher margin

* Regularly review Fixture Coverage trends to identify gaps, then order missing fixtures directly from the [Coverage Matrix](https://docs.lsports.eu/u/boost/provider-benchmark/coverage-matrix)
* Use the Market Uptime Graph to identify reliable providers for specific markets or leagues
* Use the drill-down feature to move quickly from a trend to specific fixtures you can act on
* Export comparison data from the **Fixtures** or **Markets** tabs in Coverage Matrix as a CSV for offline analysis
