How DEFEND Consumes Sports Feed?
DEFEND is designed to work with customers regardless of their feed data source, whether they consume odds and fixtures from LSports' TRADE or receive data from alternative providers. This flexibility is made possible through the Feed's Customer Integration API, which serves as the gateway for all sports betting data flowing into DEFEND's Risk Management System.
General Integration Guidelines
To ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance, all customers are encouraged to submit their complete sports feed directly to DEFEND. This approach allows our team to work with you in mapping and transforming your data to align with DEFEND's structure, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all risk management features. Our team is here to support you throughout the integration process, making the transition smooth and tailored to your specific data sources.
TRADE Integrated Customers
Customers subscribed to LSports' TRADE can leverage their existing feed infrastructure
All subscriptions configured in TRADE (events, markets, sports, competitions) are automatically reflected in DEFEND
Risk teams gain immediate visibility into the same fixtures and markets that traders are pricing
When suspicious activity is detected in DEFEND, such as sharp movement or imbalance, traders can navigate directly to TRADE to adjust margins, suspend markets, or refine pricing in real-time
Non-TRADE Customers
Customers using third-party odds providers can integrate directly with DEFEND
Once the feed data is formatted to the accepted standard structure and its values applied to the known fields values, the feed data can begin to be streamed.
Data is submitted via the Customer Integration API, enabling full risk management capabilities without TRADE dependency
This allows operators to benefit from DEFEND's comprehensive risk controls regardless of their odds supplier
Data Structure Requirements
All data submitted to DEFEND, whether from TRADE or external sources, works best when aligned with LSports' TRADE message structure standards. Our team is experienced in adapting various feed formats and will work with you to ensure compatibility:
Fixture Metadata: We recommend following the TRADE Fixture Message Structure
Includes Sport, Location, League, Participants, StartDate, Status, and metadata
Contains subscription details, venue information, and fixture extra data
Market Data: We recommend following the TRADE Market Message Structure
Includes Market ID, Name, Bets with odds (Price), Status, and Lines
Supports both PreMatch and InPlay (live) market updates
Contains probability calculations and price movements
This unified approach ensures that all customers, regardless of data source, benefit from DEFEND's powerful risk management capabilities while maintaining data consistency through powerful integration using standardized message formats, creating a dynamic ecosystem where traders and risk analysts can work collaboratively and respond to issues quickly.
